T&C’s: These Terms are a contract between each entrant (you) or your school and the Philips Search and Rescue Trust on behalf of the Grassroots Trust Rescue Helicopter.

Term: The Competition is run per term dates specified by the Grassroots Trust Rescue Helicopter at the time of entry.

Prize: The prize(s) for the Competition (Prize) are not transferable or redeemable for cash or postponed longer than 6months. Some or all components of the prize may be subject to availability, as well as additional terms and conditions set by third parties. Prize winners are responsible for arranging a date agreed by both you and Philips Search and Rescue Trust. The Grassroots Trust Rescue Helicopter may replace the prize with another prize of equivalent or greater value if the prize becomes unavailable for reasons outside the Grassroots Trust Rescue Helicopters reasonable control.

Who may enter: To enter the Competition, you must meet any entry criteria specified by the Grassroots Trust Rescue Helicopter, and comply with these Terms.

Number of entries: Unless otherwise specified, you may only enter the Competition once per term and this will be added to your entire Schools total.

Winner: Unless otherwise specified, the winner of the prize will be the school that has raised the most funds in one term. All funds raised individually or as a class/school will be allocated under your school’s name and added together end of Term. School with the most amount raised – Wins!

Contacting the winner: The winning school will be announced after determination. The Grassroots Trust Rescue Helicopter will take reasonable steps to contact the winner by using the contact details provided at the time of entry. If the Grassroots Trust Rescue Helicopter cannot contact a winner within one week after the winner is announced or if the winner is otherwise unable to accept the prize, then the winner will forfeit the prize and the Grassroots Trust Rescue Helicopter may select a new winner.

Entries: By entering the Competition you consent to the Grassroots Trust Rescue Helicopter copying, reproducing, altering, communicating to the public, any and all media or to advertise and promote on the Grassroots Trust Rescue Helicopter websites and social media platforms, you agree that the Grassroots Trust Rescue Helicopter may use your name, photograph for promotional purposes without compensation.

Privacy: The Grassroots Trust Rescue Helicopter may collect and use personal information about you, your class or your school (including your name, contact details and email address in connection with your entry) for the purpose of administering the Competition, verifying the validity of entries and contacting winners. Incomplete entries will be invalid. The Grassroots Trust Rescue Helicopter will collect, use and hold your information in accordance with our legal obligations, including under the Privacy Act 2020. Liability: Subject to any applicable law that cannot be excluded, the Grassroots Trust Rescue Helicopter and its employees and agents will not be liable for any loss or damage (whether in contract, tort (including negligence), under statute, equity or otherwise in connection with the Competition or the prize(s)). Without limiting the previous sentence, the Grassroots Trust Rescue Helicopter is not responsible for any late, misdirected or incorrectly completed entries, or any technical malfunction, delay or loss of data that occurs in the course of the administration of the Competition, however caused.
Facebook: Where the Competition is run via Facebook, the Competition is not associated with Facebook, Facebook has no liability in connection with the Competition, and any information you provide in connection with the Competition is provided to the Grassroots Trust Rescue Helicopter, not to Facebook.
General: The Grassroots Trust Rescue Helicopters’ decisions regarding the Competition are final and no correspondence will be entered into. The Grassroots Trust Rescue Helicopter may change these Terms at any time. If the Grassroots Trust Rescue Helicopter cannot reasonably run the Competition as planned for any reason, the Grassroots Trust Rescue Helicopter may cancel this Competition.
