Coast to Coast
This is the ultimate road experience! The ride travels from the West Coast to the East. Past routes have included leaving from Himatangi in the morning and riding through Foxton onto Shannon then up and over the Pahiatua Track to Woodville, where they join in with Woodville’s Annual Christmas Parade. The bikes are a highlight of the parade and the sight and sound of them riding attracts a large crowd from far and wide.
After a complimentary lunch in Woodville, the riders head off through Mangatainoka turning off to Makuri, through Pongoroa to finish at Akitio. At just over 200kms, it is a great day’s ride supporting a worthy cause, as all proceeds raised go to the Palmerston North Rescue Helicopter.
