KCE (King Country Energy) became a Supporting Sponsor of the Waikato Westpac Rescue Helicopter in 2016, forming a partnership that helps ensure the communities they power can always rely on the rescue helicopter when it’s needed most. KCE operates five power stations, including the Wairere, and the Mokauiti stations within the key areas supported by the Waikato Westpac Rescue Helicopter. Their sponsorship reinforces a shared commitment to protecting the health and safety of local communities.
