BACKGROUND

Norwood has been a proud supporter of the Grassroots Trust Rescue Helicopter for over 10 years.

Norwood proudly supports the Grassroots Trust Rescue Helicopter to help keep their farming clients and rural communities safe, ensuring rapid response to the large‑scale rescue missions that often occur across the Manawatū and Whanganui agricultural region.

In 2025, 142 of the 407 missions were rescue, remote, or rural callouts.

They have also supplied the Grassroots Trust Rescue Helicopter crew with a Kubota tractor used to push and tow the rescue helicopter onto the helipad. This Kubota tractor enables the team to manoeuvre the helicopter in and out of the hangar swiftly and efficiently.
