BACKGROUND

Norwood has been a proud supporter of the Greenlea Rescue Helicopter since 2023.

Norwood proudly supports the Greenlea Rescue Helicopter to help keep their farming clients and rural communities safe, ensuring rapid response to the large‑scale rescue missions that often occur across the Central Plateau and Lakes agricultural region.

In 2025, 114 of the 519 missions were rescue, remote, or rural callouts.

They have also supplied the Greenlea Rescue Helicopter crew with a Kubota tractor used to push and tow the rescue helicopter onto the helipad. This Kubota tractor enables the team to manoeuvre the helicopter in and out of the hangar swiftly and efficiently.
