BACKGROUND
Headquartered in Hamilton, Gallagher has grown over the 75 years the business has been running for.
Starting off with electric fences and animal management solutions, Gallagher soon expanded into other areas including security, fuel systems and contract manufacturing, making it the global business it is now.
Since 1987, Gallagher has remained a committed partner of the life-saving service. In addition to their dedicated sponsorship, which has spanned over 30 years, Gallagher sells their infamous stock sticks at the annual Fieldays – with all proceeds going directly to your rescue helicopter.
Fieldays
The team at Gallagher attend the annual Fieldays, the largest agricultural event in the Southern Hemisphere, every year, raising funds for the rescue helicopters.
With animal management being a large part of what Gallagher does, it only makes sense that their team sell stock sticks, with the proceeds going to keeping the Waikato Westpac Rescue Helicopter operational 24/7.

Easter Search and Rescue Hunt
Gallagher and the Gallagher Chiefs got the kids busy over the school holidays. They held an Easter Search and Rescue Hunt at the Hamilton Gardens, where twelve Chief players were hidden at different spots of the popular Hamilton location, and the kids were given the mission to gather signatures from each player and return to base to get a prize and an Easter egg. The $5 entry donations went towards the Waikato Westpac Rescue Helicopter. An awesome community incentive!
